Gin And Dreams nasce nel 2023 dalla volontà di Andrea che decide di intraprendere la produzione di gin con le botaniche del territorio: Ginepro, Mirto, Lavanda, Menta, Rosa Canina e Grazie al contributo del nostro responsabile commerciale Fabio, la sfida è portare avanti l’azienda verso nuovi traguardi, rispettando le tecniche di produzione tradizionali tramandate.

Gin And Dreams è il frutto di una selezione scrupolosa delle botaniche più rare e pregiate che crescono rigogliose nei selvaggi paesaggi della Sardegna.

Tra le botaniche tipiche troviamo il mirto selvatico, il ginepro mediterraneo, la lavanda profumata, la menta selvatica e dei tocchi segreti che conferiscono al gin un carattere unico e indimenticabile.

Gin And Dreams was born in 2023 from the will of Andrea who decided to undertake the production of gin with the botanicals of the territory: Juniper, Myrtle, Lavender, Mint, Dog Rose and Thanks to the contribution of our sales manager Fabio, the challenge is to take the company forward towards new goals, respecting the traditional production techniques handed down.

Gin And Dreams is the result of a scrupulous selection of the rarest and most valuable botanicals that grow luxuriantly in the wild landscapes of Sardinia.

Among the typical botanicals we find wild myrtle, Mediterranean juniper, scented lavender, wild mint and secret touches that give the gin a unique and unforgettable character.

Al palato si denota subito il ginepro seguito dalla rosa canina e dalla lavanda, un buon equilibrio per un gin che sa di ginepro con sfumature dolciastre date dal mirto ben bilanciate dalla lavanda e dalla rosa canina.

Un gin onesto che sa restituire i sapori della terra in cui nasce, consigliato con una bella tonica secca.

On the palate, juniper is immediately noticeable, followed by dog rose and lavender, a good balance for a gin that tastes of juniper with sweet nuances given by myrtle well balanced by lavender and dog rose.

An honest gin that knows how to restore the flavors of the land where it is born, recommended with a nice dry tonic.

Quale acqua tonica usare? / wich tonic water?

Abbiamo provato questo gin con varie toniche, quelle che hanno bilanciato meglio il gin sono la J. Gasco Indian e la Schweppes, entrambe riescono a bilanciare il sapore forte della rosa canina con i resto delle botaniche, tra cui le note balsamiche del ginepro e della menta con la floreale della lavanda.

La Schweppes abbassa un po’ di più l’amarognolo della rosa canina dando più risalto al mirto che ben si abbina alla nota balsamica della menta e del ginepro e al floreale della lavanda.

We tried this gin with various tonics, the ones that best balanced the gin were J. Gasco Indian and Schweppes, both manage to balance the strong flavor of the dog rose with the rest of the botanicals, including the balsamic notes of juniper and mint with the floral notes of lavender.

Schweppes lowers the bitterness of the dog rose a little more, giving more prominence to the myrtle that pairs well with the balsamic note of mint and juniper and the floral notes of lavender.

COSA CI PIACE E COSA NO / WHAT WE LIKE AND WHAT WE DON’T

Ci piace la bottiglia, fatta di vetro colorato ma trasparente con colori che vanno dal giallo all’arancione con disegnato in basso a destra la Sardegna a richiamare le origini del gin.

Ci piace il profumo che rilascia appena aperta la bottiglia, al naso arriva subito la nota floreale ed erbacea del gin, tra cui il mirto e la rosa canina con un finale balsamico dato dal ginepro e dalla menta.

Ci piace bevuto liscio in quanto al palato arriva subito la nota forte e balsamica del ginepro seguito dalla nota dolciastra del mirto e della lavanda, con la rosa canina che avvolge il palato.

We like the bottle, made of colored but transparent glass with colors ranging from yellow to orange with Sardinia drawn on the bottom right to recall the origins of the gin.

We like the scent that it releases as soon as the bottle is opened, the floral and herbaceous note of the gin immediately reaches the nose, including myrtle and dog rose with a balsamic finish given by juniper and mint.

We like it drunk neat as the strong and balsamic note of juniper immediately reaches the palate followed by the sweetish note of myrtle and lavender, with the dog rose enveloping the palate.
