Ciao Federico parlaci di come e quando nasce Exelyn Gin.

Ciao e grazie per aver apprezzato il nostro gin – ci fa davvero piacere.
Dietro c’è stato un lungo lavoro, sia per quanto riguarda la ricetta, sia per la particolarità della bottiglia.

È il vostro primo distillato, a quale distilleria vi appoggiate?

Exelyn è il nostro primo distillato, nato con l’aiuto di una piccola distilleria del nostro territorio: Genziana Distillati.

Il mastro distillatore è molto preparato e lavora ancora in maniera artigianale.

Avete optato per un gin legato al Vs territorio, ce ne parlate un pò?

Il nostro gin è profondamente legato al Monte Grappa, che domina il nostro paese e dove, in un certo senso, siamo cresciuti.
Un luogo ricco di storia, anche dolorosa: qui sorge un ossario dove riposano migliaia di caduti in guerra.

Tutto è nato da un’idea di Paolo, grande amico e compagno d’avventure. Volevamo creare qualcosa che fosse davvero nostro, che raccontasse il nostro legame e il nostro territorio.
Siamo quattro amici di una vita, e questa è la nostra prima creazione insieme.

Le botaniche usate arrivano tutte dal Monte Grappa, così come l’acqua utilizzata, che sgorga dalle sue falde.
Abbiamo voluto restare il più possibile legati alla nostra terra – e siamo fieri di esserci riusciti, con le nostre forze e le nostre idee.

Avete altri progetti, qualche anticipazione?

Al momento non abbiamo altri progetti in cantiere: ci stiamo dedicando anima e corpo a questo primo prodotto.
Ma in futuro… chissà!

Hi Federico, tell us about how and when Exelyn Gin was born.

Hello and thank you for liking our gin – we’re truly delighted.
It’s been a long process, both in terms of the recipe and the unique bottle.

It’s your first spirit; which distillery do you use?

Exelyn is our first spirit, created with the help of a small local distillery: Genziana Distillati.

The master distiller is highly skilled and still works using artisanal methods.

You’ve chosen a gin with a strong connection to your region; can you tell us a little about it?

Our gin is deeply connected to Monte Grappa, which dominates our town and where, in a certain sense, we grew up.
A place rich in history, including painful ones: here stands an ossuary where thousands of war dead rest.

It all began with an idea from Paolo, a great friend and companion on many adventures. We wanted to create something truly ours, something that would express our bond and our region.
We are four lifelong friends, and this is our first creation together.

The botanicals we use all come from Monte Grappa, as does the water, which flows from its aquifers.
We wanted to remain as connected to our land as possible—and we’re proud to have achieved this, with our own strengths and ideas.

Do you have any other projects, or any sneak peeks?

We don’t have any other projects in the works at the moment: we’re dedicating ourselves heart and soul to this first product.
But in the future… who knows!
