È stato creato un blend in cui prevale un sapore “pizzicato” dovuto alla presenza di peperoncino con una base di bacche di ginepro comune, unite alle pregiate bacche di ginepro rosso, coriandolo, timo e rosmarino.

Premiato nel 2023 con una Medaglia d’Argento al World Gin Awards 2023 nella categoria “Contemporary Style Gin” e nel 2022 con una Medaglia d’Argento all’IWSC (International Wine Spirits vvCompetition) di Londra.

A blend was created in which a “pizzicato” flavor prevails due to the presence of chili pepper with a base of common juniper berries, combined with the prized red juniper berries, coriander, thyme and rosemary.

Awarded in 2023 with a Silver Medal at the World Gin Awards 2023 in the “Contemporary Style Gin” category and in 2022 with a Silver Medal at the IWSC (International Wine Spirits vvCompetition) in London.

Tarantula è un gin con decise influenze della sua terra d’origine, balsamico con le sue botaniche erbacee arricchite da una percettibile nota piccante e aspra delle altre sue botaniche principali.

Quale acqua tonica usare? / wich tonic water?

Abbiamo provato questo gin con varie toniche e quella che ha permesso di bilanciar meglio le varie botaniche presenti all’interno del gin è la Fever Tree Mediterranea, in quanto riesce ad equilibrare le note erbacce del rosmarino e del timo con le note balsamiche e fresche dei due tipi di ginepro con un retrogusto finale speziato dato dal peperoncino e della scorza di limone, per un gin tonic fresco e dissetante.

We tried this gin with various tonics and the one that best balanced the various botanicals present in the gin was Fever Tree Mediterranea, as it manages to balance the herbal notes of rosemary and thyme with the balsamic and fresh notes of the two types of juniper with a spicy final aftertaste given by the chilli pepper and lemon zest, for a fresh and thirst-quenching gin and tonic.

COSA CI PIACE E COSA NO / WHAT WE LIKE AND WHAT WE DON’T

Ci piace la semplicità della bottiglia, nel collo della bottiglia i rilievo è scritto il nome dell’azienda produttrice, piace l’etichetta con ben disegnata una tarantola multicolore.

Ci piace il profumo che rilascia appena aperta la bottiglia in quanto al naso arrivano subito le note erbacee del gin date dal rosmarino e dal timo con un finale balsamico dato dalla combinazione dei due tipi di ginepro e una leggera nota agrumata data dalla scorza di limone.

Ci piace bevuto liscio in quanto al palato arriva subito la nota alcolica e balsamica del ginepro con le note erbacee del rosmarino e timo che fanno da legante con la nota speziata e piccante del peperoncino ed agrumata del limone.

We like the simplicity of the bottle, the name of the manufacturing company is written in relief on the neck of the bottle, we like the label with a well-designed multicolored tarantula.

We like the scent that is released as soon as the bottle is opened as the herbaceous notes of the gin given by the rosemary and thyme immediately reach the nose with a balsamic finish given by the combination of the two types of juniper and a light citrus note given by the lemon peel.
