Distilleria Leonardelli nasce da un’esperienza ventennale, e a tutto tondo, nel settore gastronomico, ma anche dal coraggio di mettersi in gioco davvero con prodotti raffinati che raccontino la storia e l’esperienza del suo creatore.

Distilleria Leonardelli è una distilleria indipendente, la cui sede si trova alle pendici della montagna Marzòla, a Trento. Possiede un impianto proprio fatto interamente in rame, auto-progettato e costruito in Italia.

Gin Scorza is a love song to the Mediterranean, with its fresh, citrusy and thirst-quenching flavour.

Created with wheat alcohol and organic juniper, it is a gin as seductive as summer, thanks to the use of Sicilian mandarin peels.

Distilleria Leonardelli was born from twenty years of experience, and all-round, in the gastronomic sector, but also from the courage to really get involved with refined products that tell the story and experience of its creator.

Distilleria Leonardelli is an independent distillery, whose headquarters are located on the slopes of the Marzòla mountain, in Trento. It has its own plant made entirely of copper, self-designed and built in Italy.

Il mandarino si sente in questo gin ma non prevale eccessivamente sulle altre botaniche nonostante sia un ingrediente molto forte, una bella tonica secca riesce ad equilibrare al meglio i sapori al nostro palato.

The mandarin is noticeable in this gin but does not overpower the other botanicals despite being a very strong ingredient; a nice dry tonic can best balance the flavours on our palate.

Abbiamo provato questo gin con varie toniche, quelle che hanno bilanciato meglio il gin sono J. Gasco Indian e la Fever Tree Refreshingly Light.

La J. Gasco Indian permette di sentir ben bilanciato la nota agrumata del mandarino con la nota balsamica del ginepro, rendendo leggermente un po’ amarognolo il retrogusto ma molto piacevole, il tutto per un gin tonic molto fresco e bevibile in particolar modo in estate.

La Fever Tree Refreshingly Light risalta di più la nota agrumata delle scorze del mandarino, con un finale balsamico del ginepro, il tutto per un gin tonic molto dissetante e piacevole da bersi in compagnia.

We tried this gin with various tonics, the ones that balanced the gin best were J. Gasco Indian and Fever Tree Refreshingly Light.

The J. Gasco Indian allows you to feel the citrus note of the mandarin well balanced with the balsamic note of the juniper, making the aftertaste slightly bitter but very pleasant, all for a very fresh and drinkable gin and tonic especially in summer.

The Fever Tree Refreshingly Light highlights the citrus note of the mandarin peels more, with a balsamic finish of the juniper, all for a very thirst-quenching and pleasant gin and tonic to drink in company.

COSA CI PIACE E COSA NO / WHAT WE LIKE AND WHAT WE DON’T

Ci piace la semplicità della bottiglia arancione con la lettera S intagliata, che richiama la botanica del gin e le scorze di mandarino.

Il profumo rilasciato appena aperta la bottiglia è piacevole, con note agrumate di mandarino e un tocco balsamico di ginepro.

Bevuto liscio, si apprezzano le note agrumate del mandarino ben bilanciate con la freschezza balsamica del ginepro, ideale anche come digestivo.

We like the simplicity of the bottle with a totally orange label with the letter S carved into it and totally orange, a color that recalls the botany of gin or mandarin peels.

We like the scent it releases as soon as the bottle is opened, the citrus note of the mandarin and the balsamic of the juniper immediately arrive on the nose.

We like it drunk straight as the citrus note of the mandarin immediately arrives on the palate which balances well with the balsamic and fresh note of the juniper, a gin that can also be drunk straight at the end of a meal.
