Gin Foglia è un tributo alle due terre del mastro distillatore, l’Argentina e l’Italia, che si raccontano al palato grazie innanzitutto al ginepro biologico, al mate argentino e al mirto sardo, ma anche alle foglie di rovo, a quelle di mirtillo nero, alle foglie di asperula e a quelle di stevia.

Distilleria Leonardelli nasce da un’esperienza ventennale, e a tutto tondo, nel settore gastronomico, ma anche dal coraggio di mettersi in gioco davvero con prodotti raffinati che raccontino la storia e l’esperienza del suo creatore.

Distilleria Leonardelli è una distilleria indipendente, la cui sede si trova alle pendici della montagna Marzòla, a Trento. Possiede un impianto proprio fatto interamente in rame, auto-progettato e costruito in Italia.

Gin Foglia is a tribute to the two lands of the master distiller, Argentina and Italy, which tell their story to the palate thanks first of all to organic juniper, Argentine mate and Sardinian myrtle, but also to blackberry leaves, blackcurrant leaves, woodruff leaves and stevia leaves.

Distilleria Leonardelli was born from twenty years of experience, and all-round, in the gastronomic sector, but also from the courage to really get involved with refined products that tell the story and experience of its creator.

Distilleria Leonardelli is an independent distillery, whose headquarters are located on the slopes of the Marzòla mountain, in Trento. It has its own plant made entirely of copper, self-designed and built in Italy.

La freschezza del nome si ritrova nel gusto di questo gin con la verbena che spinge il ginepro aiutata dal mirtillo nero, un gin rinfrescante decisamente buono tutto l’anno.

The freshness of the name is found in the taste of this gin with verbena pushing the juniper aided by blackberry, a refreshing gin that is definitely good all year round.

Quale acqua tonica usare? / wich tonic water?

Abbiamo provato questo gin con varie toniche, quella che ha bilanciato meglio il gin è la J. Gasco Indian, in quanto permette di assaporar meglio le varie botaniche, a partire dalle note fresche e balsamiche del ginepro e della verbena, seguite da un mix fruttato e dolciastro dato dal mirtillo nero e della verbena, con il sapore del te Matè che bilancia bene il tutto, rendendo il gin tonic molto fresco.

We tried this gin with various tonics, the one that balanced the gin best is the J. Gasco Indian, as it allows you to better savor the various botanicals, starting from the fresh and balsamic notes of juniper and verbena, followed by a fruity mix and sweetish given by the blueberry and verbena, with the flavor of the Matè tea which balances everything well, making the gin and tonic very fresh.

COSA CI PIACE E COSA NO / WHAT WE LIKE AND WHAT WE DON’T

Ci piace la semplicità della bottiglia con un’etichetta totalmente verde acceso con intagliata la lettera F, un colore che richiama una delle botaniche chiavi presenti nel gin, quale le foglie del te Matè.

Ci piace il profumo che rilascia appena aperta la bottiglia, al naso arrivano subito le note erbacee date dal mirto e del tè Matè.

Ci piace bevuto liscio in quanto al palato arriva subito la nota balsamica e fresca del ginepro accompagnato dal mirto, con la nota fruttata del mirtillo nero e della verbena che fanno da bilanciere con le note erbacee del te Matè e dell’asperula.

We like the simplicity of the bottle with a totally bright green label with the letter F carved into it, a color that recalls one of the key botanicals present in gin, like the Matè tea leaves.

We like the scent it releases as soon as the bottle is opened, the herbaceous notes of myrtle and Matè tea at once reach the nose.

We like it drunk straight as the balsamic and fresh note of juniper at once arrives on the palate accompanied by myrtle, with the fruity note of blueberry and verbena which act as a balance with the herbaceous notes of Matè tea and woodruff.
