Distillato in small batch con metodo discontinuo, Energin è prodotto con un alambicco Müller in rame e acciaio per garantire la massima qualità di un gin premium.

Questo gin è il risultato di una formula innovativa che combina 16 botaniche pregiate, tra cui maca, gyokuro e yerba mate, selezionate per le loro proprietà energizzanti e tonificanti.

Il risultato è un mix unico che, ispirato dalla scienza e dalla natura, offre un’esperienza gustativa intensa e persistente con note agrumate e speziate.

Il gin presenta un sapore terroso e leggermente nocciolato, conferito dalla maca.

Un’importante componente agrumata, con note di bergamotto, arancia e limone, si unisce a sfumature vegetali derivate dalla yerba mate e al leggero sentore piccante del pepe di Kampot.

Sul retrolfatto emerge la nota marina del gyokuro, che richiama le alghe e dona una dimensione unica e distintiva al profilo aromatico di Energin.

Distilled in small batches with a discontinuous method, Energin is produced with a copper and steel Müller still to guarantee the highest quality of a premium gin.

This gin is the result of an innovative formula that combines 16 fine botanicals, including maca, gyokuro and yerba mate, selected for their energizing and invigorating properties.

Un ottimo gin che riesce a proporre una ricetta ricca di botaniche interessanti ma semplice nella sua complessità, o meglio che riesce ad appagare naso e palato senza portarlo troppo su una botanica piuttosto che un altra, davvero ben riuscito.

An excellent gin that manages to propose a recipe rich in interesting botanicals but simple in its complexity, or rather that manages to satisfy the nose and palate without bringing it too much on one botanical rather than another, truly well done.

Quale acqua tonica usare? / wich tonic water?

Abbiamo provato questo gin con varie toniche, è un gin che si abbina bene con tutte le varie toniche provate, possiamo consigliare la Fever Tree Mediterranean a chi piace sentir di più le note agrumate bilanciate dalle note dolci della liquirizia, mentre una tonica neutra come la Fever Tree Refreshingly Light o Acqua Brillante per chi desidera assaporare di più le note speziate del pepe rosso accompagnata dalle note erbacee della rosa e della Yerba Mate.

Mentre per chi desidera assaporare di più le varie botaniche insieme può abbinare ad una tonica secca come la Imperdibile, in modo da poter bilanciare le note agrumate forti con le note erbacee e floreali, abbinandolo a varie toniche si riesce a gustarsi un gin tonic sempre molto fresco e adatto ad ogni periodo dell’anno.

COSA CI PIACE E COSA NO / WHAT WE LIKE AND WHAT WE DON’T

Ci piace la bottiglia molto semplice, in particolar modo piace la particolare etichetta in 4 colori con rappresentate la formula matematica di Einstein e altri disegni legati alla formula.

Ci piace il profumo che rilascia appena aperta la bottiglia, al naso arrivano subito i sentori speziati del pepe seguito dalle note agrumate del bergamotto, arancia e del Gyokuro con un finale dolciastro della liquirizia.

Ci piace bevuto liscio in quanto al palato arriva subito la nota speziata del pepe e balsamica del ginepro che fanno da bilanciere tra le varie altre botsaniche, in particolar modo con le note agrumate ed erbacee della Yerba Mate e la liquirizia.
