Il Cilento Wild Coast è un gin mediterraneo che esprime gli aromi della meravigliosa Costa Selvaggia del Cilento.

Ogni bottiglia del Cilento Wild Coast è unica. La raccolta delle botaniche avviene a mano e gli ingredienti sono diversi in ogni stagione donando sensazioni nuove. Ciò consente ad ogni distillazione di diventare un’opera organolettica irripetibile.

Botaniche: La parte aromatica principale è il ginepro rosso che conferisce un gusto unico, delicato, intenso e mediterraneo al Cilento Wild Coast.

Gli altri ingredienti principali sono le foglie di mirto che è una specie abbondante della macchia mediterranea, il finocchio marino che cresce sugli scogli bagnati dalle onde, è pieno di iodio ed ha una fragranza salata ed infine la scorza dei limoni dei frutteti di Scario. Queste vengono raccolte poche ore prima della distillazione.

Il prodotto viene distillato in alambicchi discontinui sottovuoto in stile dry gin.

Le botaniche utilizzate per fare questo gin straordinario vengono tutte raccolte dall’azienda agricola San Fantino sui suoi terreni della costa selvaggia tra mare e montagna posizionati all’interno del Parco Nazionale del Cilento.

Caratteristiche Organolettiche: Luminoso e cristallino alla vista. Armonioso al naso, fresco di agrumi, arricchito da tocchi di mirto seguito da sfumature speziate di finocchio marino e ginepro rosso dove si avvertono i profumi della macchia mediterranea; al palato è perfettamente equilibrato, rotondo, con sentori di una leggera sapidità con un finale caldo in cui si apprezza la sua parte morbida ed aromatica.

Cilento Wild Coast is a Mediterranean gin that expresses the aromas of the wonderful Costa Selvaggia del Cilento.

Each bottle of Cilento Wild Coast is unique. The botanicals are harvested by hand and the ingredients are different in each season, giving new sensations. This allows each distillation to become an unrepeatable organoleptic work.

Botanicals: The main aromatic part is red juniper which gives a unique, delicate, intense and Mediterranean taste to Cilento Wild Coast. The other main ingredients are myrtle leaves which is an abundant species of the Mediterranean scrub, sea fennel which grows on the rocks bathed by the waves, is full of iodine and has a salty fragrance and finally the peel of lemons from the orchards of Scario. These are collected a few hours before distillation.

The product is distilled in discontinuous vacuum stills in dry gin style. The botanicals used to make this extraordinary gin are all collected by the San Fantino farm on its lands on the wild coast between the sea and the mountains located within the Cilento National Park.

Organoleptic Characteristics: Bright and crystalline to the eye. Harmonious to the nose, fresh citrus, enriched by touches of myrtle followed by spicy nuances of sea fennel and red juniper where the scents of the Mediterranean scrub can be felt; on the palate it is perfectly balanced, round, with hints of a light sapidity with a warm finish in which its soft and aromatic part is appreciated.

Sapori mediterranei con acqua di mare inclusa, la particolarità i questo gin però sta nelle botaniche coltivate e raccolte dall’azienda agricola San Fantino che si trova proprio nel Cilento tra costa e montagne. Il risultato è un gin piacevole e rinfrescante.

Abbiamo provato questo gin con varie toniche, quella che ha bilanciato meglio il gin è la Fever Tree Mediterranean, in quanto permette di assaporare al meglio la nota sapida del finocchio marino accompagnato dalla nota balsamica del ginepro rosso e del mirto con un retrogusto finale agrumato del limone, il tutto per creare un gin tonic equilibrato, fresco e piacevole da bere in compagnia.

Ci piace la semplicità della bottiglia con una particolare etichetta che rappresenta la cartina toponomastica del Cilento, in particolar modo delle zone di appartenenza delle botaniche con cui è fatto questo gin.
Ci piace il profumo che rilascia appena aperta la bottiglia, al naso arriva subito la nota agrumata data dalle scorze di limone e la nota balsamica del mirto e balsamica del ginepro rosso.
Ci piace bevuto liscio in quanto al palato arriva la nota sapida data dal finocchio marino seguito dalla nota balsamica del ginepro rosso e del mirto che bilanciano il sapido con l’agrumato delle scorze di limone.

We like the simplicity of the bottle with a particular label that represents the toponymic map of Cilento, in particular of the areas belonging to the botanicals with which this gin is made.
