Seawake nasce dalla rivisitazione del primo Gin prodotto da Bad Spirits.

Il precedente design necessitava di un ammodernamento che lo valorizzasse, ma un semplice cambio di grafica non sembrava sufficiente.

Bad Spirits aveva già intrapreso alcune iniziative a sostegno dell’ambiente, poiché la sensibilizzazione verso le tematiche ambientali è fondamentale non solo nella sfera domestica e privata, ma anche in quella lavorativa.

Pertanto, la volontà di non restare indifferenti ai cambiamenti che il nostro pianeta sta affrontando è stato il motore decisivo che ha permesso lo sviluppo di questo progetto.

Il primo passo è stato la scelta di materiali sostenibili: bottiglie di vetro riciclato ed etichette prodotte con plastica destinata a disperdersi negli oceani.

Anche il tappo sarà ecosostenibile, grazie alla combinazione sughero e carbone attivo; quest’ultimo neutralizza in modo naturale le sostanze indesiderate che provengono dal sughero, consentendo un minor impiego di acqua, agenti chimici ed energia.

Su ogni etichetta sarà possibile trovare una serie di illustrazioni dedicate alle creature che popolano le nostre acque.

Inoltre, Bad Spirits ha deciso di non fermarsi qui e con l’acquisto di ogni bottiglia, il 5% verrà devoluto a sostegno di Marevivo, organizzazione il cui scopo è proteggere e conservare l’ecosistema e le specie dei nostri mari.

Un capolavoro il bilanciamento tra le botaniche.
Semi di finocchio, coriandolo e ginepro si sposano con le scorze di arancia rendendo questo gin rotondo e delicato al palato.

Seawake was born from the revisitation of the first Gin produced by Bad Spirits.

The previous design needed a modernization to enhance it, but a simple change of graphics did not seem sufficient.

Bad Spirits had already undertaken some initiatives to support the environment, since raising awareness of environmental issues is fundamental not only in the domestic and private sphere, but also in the workplace.

Therefore, the desire not to remain indifferent to the changes that our planet is facing was the decisive driving force that allowed the development of this project.

The first step was the choice of sustainable materials: recycled glass bottles and labels produced with plastic destined to be dispersed in the oceans.

The cap will also be eco-sustainable, thanks to the combination of cork and activated carbon; the latter naturally neutralizes unwanted substances that come from cork, allowing for less use of water, chemical agents and energy.

On each label it will be possible to find a series of illustrations dedicated to the creatures that populate our waters.

Furthermore, Bad Spirits has decided not to stop here and with the purchase of each bottle, 5% will be donated to support Marevivo, an organization whose aim is to protect and conserve the ecosystem and species of our seas.

The balance between the botanicals is a masterpiece.

Tutto quello che è Eco Friendly a noi piace parecchio, come concetto e realizzazione il Seawake è un gin ben realizzato, fresco al palato con leggere note speziate che ben si bilanciano con una tonica secca e decisa.

We really like everything that is Eco Friendly, in terms of concept and execution, Seawake is a well-made gin, fresh on the palate with light spicy notes that balance well with a dry and decisive tonic.

Quale acqua tonica usare? / wich tonic water?

Abbiamo provato questo gin con varie toniche, quelle che hanno bilanciato meglio il gin tonic sono la J. Gasco Indian e la Abbondio Premium.

La Gasco permette di assaporare un gin tonic fresco e bilanciato, al palato arriva subito la nota agrumata data dalla scorza d’arancia con la nota dolce del finocchio che bilancia l’agrumato con la nota balsamica del cardamomo.

La Abbondio Premium invece risalta di più le note amarognole del gin, le note agrumate delle scorze d’arancia sono più marcate rispetto alle note balsamiche del cardamomo con un finale leggermente dolciastro dato dal finocchio.

We tried this gin with various tonics, the ones that balanced the gin and tonic best were the J Gasco Indian and the Abbondio Premium.

Gasco allows you to savor a fresh and balanced gin and tonic, the citrus note given by the orange peel immediately arrives on the palate with the sweet note of fennel which balances the citrus with the balsamic note of cardamom.

The Abbondio Premium, on the other hand, highlights the bitter notes of the gin more, the citrus notes of the orange peel are more marked than the balsamic notes of the cardamom with a slightly sweet finish given by the fennel.

COSA CI PIACE E COSA NO / WHAT WE LIKE AND WHAT WE DON’T

Ci piace la bottiglia semplice, con etichette che variano da bottiglia in bottiglia dove viene spiegato il progetto di sostegno all’ambiente.

Ci piace il profumo che rilascia appena aperta la bottiglia, al naso arriva subito il coriandolo seguito dal finocchio con un finale agrumato dato dalle scorze di arancia.

Ci piace bevuto liscio, in quanto al palato arriva subito la nota dolciastra del finocchio che fa da bilanciere tra la nota balsamica del cardamomo e la nota agrumata della scorza d’arancia.

We like the simple bottle, with labels that vary from bottle to bottle where the environmental support project is explained.
