Buongiorno cosa Vi ha spinto a creare i Vs Corricella Gin? Quando nascono?

Corricella Gin nasce a settembre 2021, nella versione classica, mentre a maggio 2022 abbiamo lanciato Corricella Tangerine Gin. Siamo stati spinti dall’esigenza di realizzare un gin premium di nostra proprietà, siamo importatori e distributori in esclusiva per il mercato italiano di diverse marche di gin prodotti in diversi Paesi del mondo, e dalla voglia di valorizzare gli infusi che produciamo da tre generazione con gli agrumi dell’isola di Procida.

Avete esperienza nel settore o è la Vs prima esperienza in questo campo?

Abbiamo diversi anni di esperienza alle spalle, soprattutto per quanto riguarda la produzione liquoristica. Cimentarsi con la produzione di un gin è stata una piacevole esperienza e una scommessa vinta.

Possedete una distilleria o Vi affidate ad una distilleria esterna? Potete dirci quale e perchè l’avete scelta?

Produciamo nel nostro liquorificio, acquistiamo il distillato London Dry Gin a pieno grado dalla più antica distilleria di gin d’Inghilterra e poi lo misceliamo ai nostri pregiati infusi di agrumi procidani.

Ci date dei consigli su come gustare Corricella gin e il Corricella Tangerine Gin, quali toniche abbinare e che cibo si accompagna?

Corricella gin è perfetto in un Royal Negroni abbinato a Bitter e Vermouth Borbone, con una scorzetta di arancia acerba. Mentre, il Tangerine gin è perfetto in un gin & tonic con Premium Fine Tonic Water Fairy Queen e una foglia di mandarino.

Avete anticipazioni su nuovi gin/prodotti? Qualcosa in esclusiva per GinEcologY?

Ad oggi, non abbiamo in programma il lancio di nuovi Corricella. Ma mai dire mai…

Good morning, what pushed you to create Vs Corricella Gin? When are they born?

Corricella Gin was born in September 2021, in the classic version, while in May 2022 we launched Corricella Tangerine Gin.

We were driven by the need to create a premium gin of our own, we are exclusive importers and distributors for the Italian market of various brands of gin produced in different countries around the world, and by the desire to enhance the infusions that we have been producing for three generations with citrus fruits from the island of Procida.

Do you have experience in the sector or is this your first experience in this field?

We have several years of experience behind us, especially with regards to liqueur production. Trying your hand at producing a gin was a pleasant experience and a successful bet.

Do you own a distillery or do you rely on an external distillery? Can you tell us which one and why you chose it?

We produce in our liquor factory, we purchase the full-strength London Dry Gin distillate from the oldest gin distillery in England and then we mix it with our fine Procida citrus infusions.

Can you give us some advice on how to enjoy Corricella gin and Corricella Tangerine Gin, which tonics to pair with and what food goes with it?

Corricella gin is perfect in a Royal Negroni paired with Bitter and Vermouth Borbone, with a twist of unripe orange. While, Tangerine gin is perfect in a gin & tonic with Premium Fine Tonic Water Fairy Queen and a mandarin leaf.

Do you have any previews of new gins/products? Something exclusive for GinEcologY?

To date, we have no plans to launch any new Corricella. But never say never…
