Un gin bilanciato che sa dare al palato sensazioni di freschezza ma anche un pò speziate, liscio sicuramente il Blackmouth racconta già di sé ma è miscelato con una tonica secca che riesce a far emergere tutto il suo bouquet di botaniche.

A balanced gin that can give the palate sensations of freshness but also a little spicy, smooth, the Black-out certainly already speaks for itself but it is mixed with a dry tonic that manages to bring out its entire bouquet of botanicals.

Abbiamo provato questo gin con varie toniche, quella che ha bilanciato meglio il gin è la Fever Tree Indian, al palato arriva subito la nota erbacea data dalla salvia e dal fiore di sambuco che permettono di bilanciare le restanti botaniche,

in particolar modo le note leggermente amarognole della liquirizia e della radice di Iris con le note balsamiche e speziate dell’anice stellata e del pepe nero, con un retrogusto finale agrumato e dolce dato dal limone, pompelmo rosa e della cannella cassia.

Da questa combinazione ne esce fuori un Gin Tonic molto fresco e ben bilanciato da poter bere in qualsiasi momento dell’anno, in particolar modo in estate.

We tried this gin with various tonics, the one that balanced the gin best is the Fever Tree Indian, the herbaceous note given by the sage and elderflower immediately arrives on the palate which allows the remaining botanicals to be balanced,

in particular the slightly bitterness of liquorice and orris root with the balsamic and spicy notes of star anise and black pepper, with a final citrus and sweet aftertaste given by lemon, pink grapefruit and cassia cinnamon.

This combination results in a very fresh and well-balanced Gin Tonic that can be drunk at any time of the year, especially in summer.

COSA CI PIACE E COSA NO / WHAT WE LIKE AND WHAT WE DON’T

Ci piace in particolar modo l’etichetta della bottiglia con in primo piano nel davanti la sagoma del Resegone, mentre sullo sfondo nell’etichetta che si trova dietro è ben visibile il monte Resegone, vicino alla ” Valle della Bocca Nera”.

Ci piace il profumo che rilascia appena aperta la bottiglia, al naso arriva subito la nota speziata del pepe nero e dell’anice stellato, seguito dalla nota agrumata del lime.

Ci piace bevuto liscio in quanto al palato si sente subito la nota speziata del pepe nero con le note balsamiche dell’anice stellato, con le note erbacee della salvia e del sambuco che ricoprono il palato e facendo da bilanciere con le restanti note agrumate ed erbacee, il tutto rendendo davvero piacevole da bere questo liscio.

We particularly like the label of the bottle with the silhouette of Resegone in the foreground on the front, while in the background on the label behind it is clearly visible Mount Resegone, near the “Valle della Bocca Nera”.

We like the scent it releases as soon as the bottle is opened, the spicy note of black pepper and star anise immediately arrives on the nose, followed by the citrus note of lime.

We like it drunk neat as on the palate you can immediately feel the spicy note of black pepper with the balsamic notes of star anise, with the herbaceous notes of sage and elderberry covering the palate and acting as a balance with the remaining citrus and herbaceous notes , all making this smooth drink really pleasant.
