ME (Mzero Experience) rappresenta la creazione più intensa di Mzero Sealab, leader italiano negli spiriti di nuova generazione. Il nostro Capo Alchimista, Raffaele Cammarella, aveva deciso di creare il miglior gin&tonic di sempre per uso personale e il risultato ci ha entusiasmato così tanto che abbiamo dovuto rendere questo gin disponibile a tutti! Una selezione di essenze, liquori e profumi del Mediterraneo (tutti presi vicino alla casa di Raffaele sulla costa calabrese) accuratamente raccolti e catturati in bottiglie di ME gin in edizione limitata.

Il nostro primo è ME Pink Pepper: la celebrazione del gusto fresco e pungente del pepe rosa, accuratamente miscelato con bacche, erbe e spezie infuse individualmente. Il suo sapore caratteristico lo rende inconfondibile in qualsiasi bevanda e cocktail.

Perfetto in un cocktail, a contatto con il Chinino di una acqua tonica il gin&tonic assume una colorazione rosa/violetta brillante.

ME (Mzero Experience) represents the most intense creation of Mzero Sealab, Italian leader in new generation spirits. Our Chief Alchemist, Raffaele Cammarella, had decided to create the best gin&tonic ever for personal use and the result thrilled us so much that we had to make this gin available to everyone! A selection of Mediterranean essences, liqueurs and perfumes (all taken near Raffaele’s home on the Calabrian coast) carefully collected and captured in limited edition bottles of ME gin.

Our first is ME Pink Pepper: the celebration of the fresh, tangy taste of pink pepper, carefully blended with individually infused berries, herbs and spices. Its characteristic flavor makes it unmistakable in any drink and cocktail.

Perfect in a cocktail, in contact with the Quinine of a tonic water the gin&tonic takes on a bright pink/violet colour.

Un gin decisamente “digestivo” la particolarità del pepe rosa abbinato al ginepro in maniera sapiente e coerente regala un sapore da subito deciso prima all’olfatto e subito dopo al palato, sia in naturalezza che mischiato alla giusta tonica ME Pink Pepper è in grado di soddisfare palati esigenti.

A decidedly “digestive” gin, the particularity of pink pepper combined with juniper in a wise and coherent way gives an immediately strong flavour, first on the nose and immediately after on the palate, both naturally and mixed with the right tonic. ME Pink Pepper is capable of satisfy demanding palates.

Quale acqua tonica usare? / wich tonic water?

Abbiamo provato questo gin con varie toniche, quelle che bilanciano meglio il gin tonic sono due la Tonica Paoletti e la Fever Tree Mediterranea.
La Tonica Paoletti da una nota dolciastra al gin tonic abbassando le note speziate e forti del pepe rosa, al palato la nota speziata del pepe rosa ricopre la lingua con la nota dolciastra della tonica che la bilancia insieme al gusto del ginepro.
La Fever Tree Mediterranea risalta meglio la nota speziata del pepe rosa grazie ala note leggermente agrumate della tonica con un finale piacevole e fresco del ginepro che ricopre il palato.
A concludere la Paoletti può essere indicata a chi preferisce di più sentire la nota dolciastra della tonica con un finale leggermente speziato del pepe rosa, mentre la Fever Tree Mediterranea la si può indicare a chi preferisce gustarsi un gin tonic speziato.

We tried this gin with various tonics, the ones that best balance the gin and tonic are two: Tonica Paoletti and Fever Tree Mediterranea.
The Paoletti Tonic gives a sweetish note to the gin tonic by lowering the spicy and strong notes of pink pepper, on the palate the spicy note of pink pepper covers the tongue with the sweetish note of the tonic which balances it together with the taste of juniper.
The Mediterranean Fever Tree highlights the spicy note of pink pepper better thanks to the slightly citrus notes of the tonic with a pleasant and fresh finish of the juniper that covers the palate.
To conclude, the Paoletti can be indicated for those who prefer to feel the sweetish note of the tonic with a slightly spicy finish of pink pepper, while the Fever Tree Mediterranea can be indicated for those who prefer to enjoy a spicy gin and tonic.

COSA CI PIACE E COSA NO / WHAT WE LIKE AND WHAT WE DON’T

Ci piace la semplicità della bottiglia, il color rosa chiaro del gin con un disegno del ginepro nel retro bottiglia e il tappo di vetro.
Ci piace il profumo che rilascia appena aperto, al naso arriva subito la nota speziata del pepe rosa e del ginepro.
Ci piace bevuto liscio in quanto al palato arriva subito la nota speziata del pepe rosa, piacevole da sentire al palato con il ginepro che ricopre il palato bilanciando le note erbacee delle altre botaniche che sono tenute segrete.

We like the simplicity of the bottle, the light pink color of the gin with a juniper design on the back of the bottle and the glass stopper.
We like the scent it releases as soon as it is opened, the spicy note of pink pepper and juniper immediately comes to the nose.
We like it drunk straight as the spicy note of pink pepper immediately arrives on the palate, pleasant to taste on the palate with juniper covering the palate balancing the herbaceous notes of the other botanicals which are kept secret.

A chi cerca anche un digestivo oltre ad un gin fresco e intenso, bevuto liscio si fa apprezzare benissimo ma anche miscelato con una tonica adeguata.
