Hypno è un gin che sa stupire perché ha un utilizzo furbo delle botaniche, l’agrumeto si percepisce ma non prevale cosi come la parte erbacea, si presta a svariati gin-tonic con differenti acque toniche che riescono a spingerlo o a bilanciarlo.

Abbiamo provato questo gin con varie toniche, quelle che hanno permesso di assaporare un gin ben bilanciato sono la Paoletti e la Thomas Henry.

La Paoletti risalta in primis la viscosità dell’oliva seguita dalle note erbacee del rosmarino e del timo che si bilanciano con le note agrumate e un finale speziato del pepe nero e del coriandolo, il tutto dando un maggior risalto alle note erbacee e leggermente dolciastre.

La Thomas Henry risalta in prima battuta le note agrumate del gin, seguita dalle note erbacee del rosmarino e del basilico che ben si bilanciano con le note speziate del pepe nero e del coriandolo insieme alla nota viscosa dell’oliva.

In conclusione La Thomas Henry si può utilizzare per chi piace gustarsi un gin tonic che risalta le note aspre ed agrumate, in particolar modo in primavera ed estate, mentre la Paoletti per chi preferisce avere un gin tonic più bilanciato che permette di assaporare di più le note erbacee di questo gin e perfetto in qualsiasi periodo dell’anno.

Ci piace la bottiglia semplice con un’etichetta particolare, frontale trasparente che permette di vedere l’etichetta posta sul retro con un motivo ipnotico.

Ci piace il profumo che emana appena aperta la bottiglia, al naso arriva subito il profumo del ginepro e le note erbacee del timo, rosmarino e del basilico, e un finale agrumato.

Ci piace bevuto liscio in quanto al palato arriva subito la nota viscosa dell’oliva che ricopre il palato permettendo di gustare in modo bilanciato le note erbacee del timo e del basilico con le note agrumate e speziate del pepe nero e del coriandolo.
