Gin prodotto da alcol puro di cereali in alambicco di rame ibrido.

Realizzato con metodo London Dry, composto da: acqua, alcol etilico neutro da cereali, bacche di ginepro, cardamomo, zenzero ed altre botaniche.

Gin profumatissimo, rinfrescante e dissetante, con sentori agrumati e balsamici, ottimo con una tonica neutra.

Kairos Spirits, fondata da Marco Costanzo, classe 1991, originario della Calabria,
nasce dall’amore e dalla passione per il Gin che lo accompagnano da sempre.

L’idea di creare un gin unico e distintivo prende forma nel 2022, inizialmente come un semplice
passatempo, ma poi con una crescente consapevolezza e convinzione nel poter realizzare qualcosa di straordinario e fuori dal comune.

Un gin che fosse in grado di soddisfare veramente tutti e di lasciare in bocca un gusto fresco e genuino, lontano dall’essere solo “alcolico”.

Il nome Kairos deriva dal greco e significa “momento giusto”, ed è stato scelto questo nome per l’azienda perché era davvero arrivato il momento opportuno per produrre un gin unico nel suo genere, adatto a soddisfare tutti i palati.

Non a caso per l’etichette delle bottiglie sono stati scelti gli orologi con un orario preciso, le lancette indicano le 22:10, l’ora in cui Marco era solito sedersi la sera a bere un gin tonic e fantasticare e riflettere sul suo progetto.

Dopo accurate ricerche sulle botaniche e uno studio attento delle giuste proporzioni per
bilanciare la ricetta, nasce il Kairos Gin Refresh. Un gin pensato principalmente per il Gin Tonic,
perfetto se accompagnato da una tonica neutra per esaltare al massimo i suoi sapori e profumi
freschi e dissetanti, ideale per rinfrescarsi nelle giornate calde e afose, un gin prevalentemente estivo.

Successivamente, per soddisfare anche gli amanti del gin più classico e tradizionale,
è stata creata un’altra ricetta: il Kairos Gin Classic.

Un gin delicato e raffinato, con un iniziale sentore agrumato e un retrogusto morbido e avvolgente.
Entrambe le ricette vengono distillate utilizzando il metodo classico London Dry in alambicco di rame ibrido, un processo meticoloso che garantisce la massima qualità del prodotto dall’inizio alla fine.

I distillati Kairos sono prodotti artigianalmente, in piccole quantità, e le botaniche sono accuratamente selezionate, garantendo sempre la scelta dei migliori ingredienti.

A chi piace il cardamomo sa benissimo che a vote questa botanica domina eccessivamente il palato, alla Kairos Spirits invece sono riusciti a equilibrare e domare il cardamomo verde con melissa e zenzero andando a stuzzicare il palato senza portarlo troppo da una parte o dall’altra, l’ottimo alcool utilizzato poi garantisce un gin non troppo pungente e decisamente godibile.

Quale acqua tonica usare? / wich tonic water?

Abbiamo provato questo gin con varie toniche, quelle che hanno permesso di assaporare un gin ben bilanciato sono la San Pellegrino Rovere e la Fever Tree Mediterranea.
La San Pellegrino Rovere risalta molto bene le varie botaniche, in particolar modo le note agrumate e balsamiche dato dal ginepro e cardamomo, con un finale speziato dato dallo zenzero, permettendo di gustarsi un gin tonic rinfrescante e gradevole al palato.
La Fever Tree Mediterranea permette di gustarsi bene tutte le botaniche, risaltando inizialmente le note balsamiche del ginepro e del cardamomo, seguito dalle note agrumate e speziate dello zenzero, permettendo di avere un gin tonich rinfrescante molto bilanciato.

COSA CI PIACE E COSA NO / WHAT WE LIKE AND WHAT WE DON’T

Ci piace la bottiglia dalla forma classica, sull’etichetta è rappresentato un orologio modello cipollotto attorniato dalle rose e bacche di ginepro.
Ci piace il profumo che rilascia appena aperta la bottiglia, al naso arriva subito la nota speziata data dallo zenzero seguito dalle note balsamiche e fresche del ginepro con un finale agrumato.
Ci piace bevuto liscio in quanto al palato arriva subito la nota speziata dello zenzero seguito da una nota balsamica data dal cardamomo e del ginepro, che ricopre il palato facendo da collante con le restante botaniche agrumate.
