Gin prodotto da alcol puro di cereali in alambicco di rame ibrido.

Realizzato con metodo London Dry, composto da: acqua, alcol etilico neutro da cereali, bacche di ginepro, limoni, liquirizia calabrese ed altre botaniche.

Gin dal sapore classico, raffinato e delicato al palato, ottimo con una tonica neutra o una indian tonic.

Kairos Spirits, fondata da Marco Costanzo, classe 1991, originario della Calabria,
nasce dall’amore e dalla passione per il Gin che lo accompagnano da sempre.

L’idea di creare un gin unico e distintivo prende forma nel 2022, inizialmente come un semplice
passatempo, ma poi con una crescente consapevolezza e convinzione nel poter realizzare qualcosa di straordinario e fuori dal comune.

Un gin che fosse in grado di soddisfare veramente tutti e di lasciare in bocca un gusto fresco e genuino, lontano dall’essere solo “alcolico”.

Il nome Kairos deriva dal greco e significa “momento giusto”, ed è stato scelto questo nome per l’azienda perché era davvero arrivato il momento opportuno per produrre un gin unico nel suo genere, adatto a soddisfare tutti i palati.

Non a caso per l’etichette delle bottiglie sono stati scelti gli orologi con un orario preciso, le lancette indicano le 22:10, l’ora in cui Marco era solito sedersi la sera a bere un gin tonic e fantasticare e riflettere sul suo progetto.

Kairos Gin Classic nasce subito dopo il Refresh per soddisfare anche gli amanti del gin più classico e tradizionale.

Un gin delicato e raffinato, con un iniziale sentore agrumato e un retrogusto morbido e avvolgente.
Entrambe le ricette vengono distillate utilizzando il metodo classico London Dry in alambicco di rame ibrido, un processo meticoloso che garantisce la massima qualità del prodotto dall’inizio alla fine.

I distillati Kairos sono prodotti artigianalmente, in piccole quantità, e le botaniche sono accuratamente selezionate, garantendo sempre la scelta dei migliori ingredienti.

Both recipes are distilled using the classic London Dry method in a hybrid copper still, a meticulous process that ensures the highest quality product from start to finish.

Un gusto classico si ma con botaniche ben selezionate del territorio calabrese che fa bella coppia con il Refresh, entrambi gin dai sapori mediterranei ma capaci anche di regalare botaniche mai dominanti e ben bilanciate per il piacere di olfatto e soprattutto palato.

A classic taste, yes, but with well-selected botanicals from the Calabrian territory that pairs well with the Refresh, both gins with Mediterranean flavors but also capable of giving botanicals that are never dominant and well balanced for the pleasure of the sense of smell and above all the palate.

Quale acqua tonica usare? / wich tonic water?

Abbiamo provato questo gin con varie toniche, quella che ha permesso di bilanciare meglio il gin tonic è la San Pellegrino Rovere, risalta inizialmente la nota amarognola della liquirizia seguita poi dai sentori agrumati del limone e del cedro e del bergamotto, con le note balsamiche e fresche del ginepro con un retrogusto erbaceo/balsamico leggermente dolce dato dalle restanti botaniche.

We tried this gin with various tonics, the one that best balanced the gin and tonic was San Pellegrino Rovere. The bitter note of liquorice stands out initially, followed by the citrus hints of lemon, cedar and bergamot, with the balsamic and fresh from the juniper with a slightly sweet herbaceous/balsamic aftertaste given by the remaining botanicals.

COSA CI PIACE E COSA NO / WHAT WE LIKE AND WHAT WE DON’T

Ci piace la bottiglia dalla classica forma leggermente bombata con rappresentato sull’etichetta un orologio da parete circondato dalle rose.
Ci piace il profumo che emana appena aperta la bottiglia, al naso arriva subito il profumo agrumato del bergamotto, limone e cedro seguito dalla liquirizia.
Ci piace bevuto liscio in quanto al palato arriva subito la nota agrumata del cedro e del bergamotto con la liquirizia che ricopre il palato con un retrogusto erbaceo dato dalle restanti botaniche.

We like the bottle with the classic slightly rounded shape with a wall clock surrounded by roses depicted on the label.
We like the scent that emanates as soon as the bottle is opened, the citrus scent of bergamot, lemon and cedar immediately arrives on the nose followed by liquorice.
We like it drunk straight as the citrus note of cedar and bergamot immediately arrives on the palate with the licorice covering the palate with a herbaceous aftertaste given by the remaining botanicals.
