Una miscela segreta, in cui l’esperienza dei Mastri distillatori, si mescola all’ acqua del Mar Tirreno e agli aromi dei principali estratti vegetali tipici del Mediterraneo, generando, attraverso un processo di doppia distillazione, un sapore unico e raro, dal retrogusto storico. Principali Botanicals: Ginepro Fenicio, agrumi (bergamotto, limone, lime), spezie (coriandolo, cardamomo, anice stellato), erbe mediterranee (assenzio e salvia sclarea), radici (angelica e liquirizia), fiori (sambuco e zagara).

A secret blend, in which the experience of the master distillers mixes with the water of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the aromas of the main vegetal extracts typical of the Mediterranean, generating, through a double distillation process, a unique and rare flavour, with a historical aftertaste . Caffo è una grande famiglia di liquori e distillati, chi non conosce l’Amaro del Capo? Emporia Gin è un prodotto di livello decisamente interessante che ci ha conquistati con il suo sapore fresco e speziato, un mix di botaniche equilibrato ma allo stesso tempo interessante partendo dal ginepro fenicio.

Quale acqua tonica usare? / wich tonic water?

Abbiamo provato questo gin con varie toniche, quella che bilancia meglio il gin tonic è la Fever Tree Mediterranea, permette di assaporare al meglio le note agrumate del bergamotto e del limone insieme alle note floreali del sambuco e della zagara con la salvia che bilancia il tutto, lasciando un retrogusto leggermente speziato e amarognolo dato dalla liquirizia, permettendo di bere senza problemi un gin tonic bilanciato e che non stanca mai.

COSA CI PIACE E COSA NO / WHAT WE LIKE AND WHAT WE DON’T

Ci piace la semplicità della bottiglia leggermente bombata con un tappo simil cristallo a chiuderla, ci piace l’etichetta che rappresenta una barca fenicia che naviga nel mediterraneo.
Ci piace il profumo che rilascia appena aperta la bottiglia, al naso arriva subito la nota del ginepro, di due tipi quello fenicio e quello normale, seguito dalle note agrumate del bergamotto e del limone con un finale profumato speziato dato dall’anice stellato e floreale del sambuco.
Ci piace bevuto liscio, in quanto al palato arriva subito la nota saporita del ginepro seguita dall’agrumato del bergamotto con le note erbacee della salvia che bilancia tutte le altre botaniche, dalle note speziate alle note floreali del sambuco e della zagara con l’angelica e la liquirizia.
