Il secondo gin di Vèrays è il Divina e copre la richiesta di un gin dolce ma che mantiene la base degli altri gin dell’etichetta piemontese di Cuneo ovvero 4 principali botaniche e un equilibrio ben bilanciato tra agrumeto erbaceo amarognolo e in questo caso floreale/dolce.

The second gin from Vèrays is the Divina and covers the request for a sweet gin but which maintains the basis of the other gins of the Piedmontese label from Cuneo, i.e. 4 main botanicals and a well-balanced balance between bitter herbaceous citrus and in this case floral/sweet .

Abbiamo provato questo gin con varie toniche, quella che bilancia meglio il gin tonic è la Verays Indian Tonic, permette di sentire a primo impatto la nota floreale e dolce della violetta, seguito dalle note del ginepro con il basilico che fa da bilanciere tra le note floreali e quelle agrumate del limone, rendendo il gin tonic piacevole da bere. Mentre a chi piace sentire di più le note agrumate rispetto a quelle floreali della violetta, può abbinare questo gin alla Fever Tree Indian.

COSA CI PIACE E COSA NO / WHAT WE LIKE AND WHAT WE DON’T

Ci piace la bottiglia molto particolare, nell’etichetta è presente una riproduzione come se fosse una scultura classica e le varie scritte sono in rilievo, al tatto ben percettibili.
Ci piace il profumo che si sente appena stappata la bottiglia, al naso arriva subito un sentore floreale, dato dalla violetta, seguito dalla nota erbacea del basilico con un finale agrumato del limone.
Ci piace bevuto liscio, al palato si sente subito il ginepro seguito dal sapore della violetta, con il basilico che bilancia il tutto con le note agrumate del limone, rendendolo molto bilanciato e piacevole al palato.
