Questo è un Gin superiore, caldo nel gusto e nel colore, che non solo valorizza i cocktail più classici, dal tradizionale Gin Tonic al Negroni, ma tutto da scoprire nella nuova arte della mixology. Rusagni (rus agni, villaggio degli agnelli) è il nome in dialetto di Rezzoaglio, dove nasce il nostro Liquorificio: genuino come Rusagni, il nostro è un gin compound dal colore dorato, fatto per infusione di bacche di ginepro e botaniche locali, con l’aggiunta di note agrumate.

This is a superior Gin, warm in taste and colour, which not only enhances the most classic cocktails, from the traditional Gin Tonic to the Negroni, but everything to be discovered in the new art of mixology. Rusagni (rus agni, village of lambs) is the dialect name of Rezzoaglio, where our liquor factory was born: as genuine as Rusagni, ours is a golden-coloured compound gin, made by infusing juniper berries and local botanicals, with l addition of citrus notes.

La Liguria è una regione ricca di sapori e di territorio misto, il mare si scontra con la montagna e i sapori e colori esplodono, il Liquorificio Fabbrizii si trova nell’entroterra di Chiavari e vanta un catalogo ricco di distillati e liquori, il Rusagni è un gin che ci ha colpiti per il suo avvicinarsi come sapori ad un liquore da bere sia liscio che con una tonica neutra. L’esperienza pregressa di tanti prodotti spiritosi è contenuta in questa bottiglia con un gin color miele scuro dai sapori erbacei ed agrumati, siamo curiosi di provare altri prodotti d questi ragazzi.

Liguria is a region rich in flavors and mixed territory, the sea collides with the mountain and the flavors and colors explode, the Liquorificio Fabbrizii is located in the hinterland of Chiavari and boasts a rich catalog of spirits and liqueurs, Rusagni is a gin that struck us for its flavor approach to a liqueur to be drunk either neat or with a neutral tonic. The previous experience of many spirit products is contained in this bottle with a dark honey-colored gin with herbaceous and citrus flavors, we are curious to try other products from these guys.

Quale acqua tonica usare? / wich tonic water?

Abbiamo provato questo gin con varie toniche, quella che ha risaltato meglio tutte le botaniche del gin è l’Acqua Brillante, bilancia bene le botaniche del gin permettendo di amalgamare per bene le note agrumate con quelle erbacee e floreali, forgiando un mix davvero piacevole da gustare senza che ci si possa stancare di berlo.

We tried this gin with various tonics, the one that best highlighted all the botanicals of the gin is the Acqau Brillante, it balances the botanicals of the gin well, allowing the citrus notes to blend well with the herbaceous and floral ones, forging a truly pleasant mix to enjoy it without getting tired of drinking it.

COSA CI PIACE E COSA NO / WHAT WE LIKE AND WHAT WE DON’T

Ci piace la semplicità della bottiglia con l’etichetta che raffigura un caseggiato ligure, ci piace il profumo che rilascia appena aperta la bottiglia, al naso arrivano subito le note erbacee del gin seguita dalla nota agrumata e del ginepro.
Ci piace bevuto liscio, appena assaggiato al palato arrivano subito le note erbacee e del ginepro con un retrogusto agrumato che bilancia tutte i sapori, rendendolo ottimo da bere puro dopo pasto.

Difetti davvero non ne troviamo.

We like the simplicity of the bottle with the label depicting a Ligurian building, we like the scent it releases as soon as the bottle is opened, the herbaceous notes of gin immediately reach the nose followed by the citrus note and juniper.
We like it drunk neat, as soon as we taste it, the herbaceous and juniper notes immediately arrive on the palate with a citrus aftertaste that balances all the flavours, making it excellent to drink pure after a meal.

We really can’t find any faults.
