Al naso struggente con note accese di ginepro e biancospino; al palato dolce e avvolgente con note di vaniglia, liquirizia e carruba e note prominenti come zenzero, cannella e pepe. Metodo di Produzione: Infusione a freddo di tutti gli ingredienti in alcol di cereali a 96°, tutti minuziosamente controllati e selezionati.

MarGin was born from the love and passion for Gin, from the search for notes, flavours, smells and peculiarities. The search for high quality products guarantees MarGin a distinctive and unique touch. The logo encapsulates the very nature of MarGin with its ingredients. Rich in essential oils released by the products included in them, MarGin is an atypical, almost pearly colour. On the nose, poignant with bright notes of juniper and hawthorn; sweet and enveloping on the palate with notes of vanilla, licorice and carob and prominent notes such as ginger, cinnamon and pepper. Production Method: Cold infusion of all the ingredients in 96° cereal alcohol, all meticulously controlled and selected.

Organoleptic characteristics:

Colour: Clear and transparent yellow/orange. Smell: Bright notes of pepper and cumin.

Flavour: Soft on the palate and rounded on the aftertaste thanks to Carob and Cumin
Strong spicy notes of Pepper and Cumin.

Secondo GinEcologY / ACCORDING TO GINECOLOGY

Il Margin Classico è la base di questo gin molto speziato, che ci è piaciuto davvero molto, al quale si aggiungono botaniche speziate come alcune varietà di pepe, il cumino e la curcuma oltre all’anice stellato. Il mix è ottimo e riporta subito sapori mediterranei forti, (ma non agrumeti, per quelli vi consigliamo il Margin Agrumi), un gin che da solo o in compagnia di tonica adeguata è in grado di riscaldare le fredde sere autunnali ed invernali.

The Classic Margin is the base of this very spicy gin, which we really liked, to which spicy botanicals such as some varieties of pepper, cumin and turmeric as well as star anise are added. The mix is excellent and immediately brings back strong Mediterranean flavors (but not citrus, for those we recommend the Margin Agrumi), a gin that alone or in the company of a suitable tonic is able to warm up the cold autumn and winter evenings.

Quale acqua tonica usare? / wich tonic water?

Abbiamo provato questo gin con varie toniche, tra le toniche che meglio si sono accompagnate sono l’Acqua Brillante e la Fever Tree Mediterranea entrambe per le note dolci ma quelle che in assoluto al momento sono risultate perfette per la loro neutralità sono la Vèrays e la Dandy grazie alla bollicine giusta e al chinino mantengono inalterate le botaniche di questo gin. L’acqua brillante rende il gin tonic molto neutro e ben bilanciato nei sapori, tutte le botaniche si sentono in un susseguirsi di sapori senza che uno sovrasti l’altro, le al primo sorso si può sentire le note speziate della curcuma,pepe e cumino che si legano alle note amarognole della liquirizia ed equiseto grazie alle note balsamiche dell’anice stellata e biancospino, lasciando unn retrogusto finale leggermente dolce con le note della vaniglia,cannella e carrubba. Mentre la Fever Tree Mediterranea risalta di più le note balsamiche che ben si legano con le altre botaniche e sapori della liquirizia ed equiseto con le note dolci che fanno da legante con quelle speziate.

We tried this gin with various tonics, among the tonics that went best with each other were Acqua Brillante and Fever Tree Mediterranea, both for their sweet notes but those which at the moment were absolutely perfect for their neutrality were Vèrays and Dandy thanks to the right bubbles and quinine keep the botanicals of this gin unchanged. The bright water makes the gin and tonic very neutral and well balanced in flavours, all the botanicals can be felt in a succession of flavors without one overpowering the other, at the first sip you can feel the spicy notes of turmeric, pepper and cumin which are linked to the bitter notes of liquorice and horsetail thanks to the balsamic notes of star anise and hawthorn, leaving a slightly sweet final aftertaste with notes of vanilla, cinnamon and carob. While the Mediterranean Fever Tree highlights more the balsamic notes that bind well with the other botanicals and flavors of liquorice and horsetail with the sweet notes that act as a binder with the spicy ones.

COSA CI PIACE E COSA NO / WHAT WE LIKE AND WHAT WE DON’T

Ci piace la bottiglia classica tutta nera con tappo in legno, nell’etichetta con al centro teschio circondato dalle varie botaniche con cui è composto il gin. Piace il profumo che viene su appena stappata la bottiglia, si sente molto la nota balsamica dell’anice stellata seguita dalle note speziate del cumino e curcuma e pepe, piace il gusto al palato con le note speziate del cumino, curcuma e pepe che ricoprono la lingua, ma ben bilanciate dalle note balsamiche dell’anice stellata e biancospino che fanno da collante con le restanti note amare dell’equiseto e liquirizia, con il retrogusto leggermente dolce della vaniglia, cannella e carruba.

Difetti davvero non ne troviamo.

We like the classic all-black bottle with wooden cap, on the label with a skull in the center surrounded by the various botanicals with which the gin is made. You like the scent that comes out as soon as you uncork the bottle, you can really feel the balsamic note of star anise followed by the spicy notes of cumin, turmeric and pepper, you like the taste on the palate with the spicy notes of cumin, turmeric and pepper that cover the tongue, but well balanced by the balsamic notes of star anise and hawthorn which act as a glue with the remaining bitter notes of horsetail and liquorice, with the slightly sweet aftertaste of vanilla, cinnamon and carob.

We really can’t find any faults.
