Il logo racchiude la natura stessa di MarGin con i suoi ingredienti. Ricco di oli essenziali sprigionati dai prodotti in essi contemplati, MarGin è un colore atipico, quasi perlato. Al naso struggente con note accese di ginepro e biancospino; al palato dolce e avvolgente con note di vaniglia, liquirizia e carruba e note prominenti come zenzero, cannella e pepe. Metodo di Produzione: Infusione a freddo di tutti gli ingredienti in alcol di cereali a 96°, tutti minuziosamente controllati e selezionati.

Caratteristiche organolettiche:

Colore: Giallo limpido e trasparente.

Odore: Accese note di Ginepro e Biancospino.

Sapore: Secco all’assaggio e Morbido al retrogusto. Avvolgente con note forti di Zenzero e Cardamomo, note delicate e dolci di Carruba, Vaniglia e Liquirizia.

The search for high quality products guarantees MarGin a distinctive and unique touch. The logo encapsulates the very nature of MarGin with its ingredients. Rich in essential oils released by the products included in them, MarGin is an atypical, almost pearly colour. On the nose, poignant with bright notes of juniper and hawthorn; sweet and enveloping on the palate with notes of vanilla, licorice and carob and prominent notes such as ginger, cinnamon and pepper. Production Method: Cold infusion of all the ingredients in 96° cereal alcohol, all meticulously controlled and selected.

Organoleptic characteristics:

Color: Clear and transparent yellow.

Smell: Bright notes of Juniper and Hawthorn.

Taste: Dry on the palate and soft on the aftertaste. Enveloping with strong notes of ginger and cardamom, delicate and sweet notes of carob, vanilla and liquorice.

Luciano è partito con questo gin proponendo subito un bouquet di botaniche che possiamo definire “completo”, completo nel senso che va a toccare tutti i gusti coprendo l’erbaceo e il balsamico e al tempo stesso il dolce e l’amaro, il risultato è un gin dal carattere già maturo che si accompagna sia liscio che con la tonica giusta a tutte le stagioni dell’anno.

Luciano started with this gin immediately proposing a bouquet of botanicals that we can define as “complete”, complete in the sense that it touches all tastes, covering the herbaceous and the balsamic and at the same time the sweet and the bitter, the result is a gin with an already mature character that goes well both neat and with the right tonic for all seasons of the year.

Quale acqua tonica usare? / wich tonic water?

Abbiamo provato questo gin con varie toniche, quella con cui si abbina meglio è la Malafemmena in quanto risalta un pò di più le note dolci della cannella e vaniglia ed erbacea del biancospino attenuando le note amarognole della liquirizia, carruba ed equiseto. Mentre a chi piace di più sentire le note amarognole la Fever Tree Indian riesce a dar risalto alla liquirizia e all’equiseto ma non in modo esagerato, tenendo il gusto del gin tonic leggermente amaro con le note balsamiche ed erbacee del biancospino che lega tutte le restanti botaniche con le note amare. Per un esperienza invece neutra anche qui ci sentiamo di consigliare altre due italiane ovvero la Dandy e la Vèrays, perfette con la maggior parte dei gin.

We tried this gin with various tonics, the one that goes best with it is Malafemmena as it highlights the sweet notes of cinnamon and vanilla and the herbaceous notes of hawthorn a little more, attenuating the bitter notes of liquorice, carob and horsetail. While those who like to feel the bitter notes more, the Fever Tree Indian manages to highlight the liquorice and horsetail but not in an exaggerated way, keeping the taste of the slightly bitter gin and tonic with the balsamic and herbaceous notes of the hawthorn which combines all the remaining botanicals with bitter notes. For a neutral experience, here too we would recommend two other Italian ones: Dandy and Vèrays, perfect with most gins.

COSA CI PIACE E COSA NO / WHAT WE LIKE AND WHAT WE DON’T

Ci piace la bottiglia classica tutta bianca con rafficurato nell’etichetta un teschio circondato dalle varie botaniche di cui è composto, ci piace il profumo che rilascia appena aperta la bottiglia viene subito in risalto la nota dolce data dalla cannella, dalla vaniglia e carruba seguita dalle note secche e amarognole della liquirizia.
Ci piace il sapore che lascia al palato bevuto liscio, le note amarognole della liquirizia ed equiseto si riversano sul palato, in particolar modo sulla lingua, seguita dalle note dolci della vaniglia, cannella e carruba, con il biancospino che fa da legante tra le varie botaniche, legando il dolce e l’amaro con le note speziate dello zenzero.

Difetti davvero non ne troviamo.

We like the classic all-white bottle with a skull depicted on the label surrounded by the various botanicals of which it is composed, we like the perfume it releases as soon as the bottle is opened, the sweet note given by the cinnamon, vanilla and carob immediately stands out followed by the dry and bitter notes of liquorice.
We like the flavor that leaves the palate when drunk straight, the bitter notes of liquorice and horsetail spill over the palate, especially on the tongue, followed by the sweet notes of vanilla, cinnamon and carob, with the hawthorn acting as a binder between the various botanicals, combining sweet and bitter with the spicy notes of ginger.

We really can’t find any faults.
