È un gin intenso, ricco di storia ma creato per essere equilibrato e morbido, ideale per completare qualsiasi cocktail. Gustato in purezza mostra tutto il suo carattere e trova la sua più alta espressione.

L’intento è stato quello di creare un gin unico nel suo genere:
ripetute prove e sperimentazioni con decine di piante diverse, alla ricerca del distillatore ideale nell’Italia meno conosciuta. Alla fine di un lungo percorso, la miscela si è materializzata, finalmente, su 6 differenti botanici, esclusivamente freschi, dalla mistura alcolica perfetta: un’esperienza sensoriale per un nuovo incredibile sapore.

It is an intense gin, rich in history but created to be balanced and smooth, ideal for completing any cocktail. Tasted in purity it shows all its character and finds its highest expression.

The intent was to create a one-of-a-kind gin:
repeated tests and experiments with dozens of different plants, in search of the ideal distiller in lesser-known Italy. At the end of a long journey, the blend finally materialized on 6 different botanicals, exclusively fresh, with the perfect alcoholic mixture: a sensorial experience for an incredible new flavour.

Il Piero Dry Gin nella sua semplicità con le 6 botaniche è uno dei migliori gin che abbiamo avuto modo di provare per il blog, e uno in assoluto dei nostri preferiti, uno di quei gin che ti puoi bere liscio dopo i pasti oppure mixare con le toniche giuste per dei gin tonic fantastici, di quelli che non ti fermeresti tanto presto dal versare!

The Piero Dry Gin in its simplicity with the 6 botanicals is one of the best gins we have had the opportunity to try for the blog, and one of our absolute favourites, one of those gins that you can drink neat after meals or mix with right tonics for fantastic gin and tonics, the kind you won’t stop pouring any time soon!

Quale acqua tonica usare? / wich tonic water?

Abbiamo provato questo gin con varie toniche, le due toniche che meglio si sono abbinate a questo gin sono state la Malafemmena Tonic Water e la Fever Tree Indian, al palato risaltano inizialmente una nota amarognola seguito dalle note speziate dello zenzero e del ginepro, e con la maggiorana che ben lega la nota agrumata dell’arancio e del cardamomo

We tried this gin with various tonics, the two tonics that best combined with this gin were Malafemmena Tonic Water and Fever Tree Indian. On the palate an initially bitter note stands out followed by the spicy notes of ginger and juniper, and with marjoram which combines the citrus notes of orange and cardamom well

COSA CI PIACE E COSA NO / WHAT WE LIKE AND WHAT WE DON’T

Ci piace il buon profumo che rilascia questo gin appena aperto dove, ci piace il buon sapore che rimane sul palato dove si può sentire il gusto delicato dato dalle note agrumate che si legano molto con ginepro e le note speziate dello zenzero e maggiorana che amalgama bene i sapori tra di loro. Infine ci piace molto come si combina bene con un’ottima tonica per creare un Gin tonic dal gusto delicato e rinfrescante, adatto da bere ad ogni stagione.

Difetti davvero non ne troviamo.

We like the good scent that this gin releases as soon as it is opened, we like the good flavor that remains on the palate where we can feel the delicate taste given by the citrus notes that bind closely with juniper and the spicy notes of ginger and marjoram that blend well the flavors between them. Finally, we really like how it combines well with an excellent tonic to create a Gin and Tonic with a delicate and refreshing taste, suitable for drinking in any season.

We really can’t find any faults.
