Deve rispecchiarne la sua fama peculiarità, (soprattutto nei pregi, i difetti quelli lasciamoli per il giorno dopo), questo London dry rispetta le caratteristiche con un sapore complesso ma semplice proprio come le persone che abitano la metropoli, ha una veste elegante e alla moda con questa bottiglia ed etichetta esattamente come richiede la city della fashion Week, se non vi basta questo beh non rimane che assaggiarlo!

Quale acqua tonica usare? / wich tonic water?

Abbiamo provato questo gin con varie toniche, quella che si è abbinata meglio con questo gin è la Fever Tree Indian, risalta la nota amarognola dell’assenzio che accompagna l’assaggio dall’inizio alal fine, con un susseguirsi delle note dolciastri date dalla mandorla e del cappero con un retrogusto finale floreale del timo e dell’angelica. Per chi vuole sentir un pò meno la nota amarognola dell’assenzio può abbinare questo gin anche con la Malafemmena, dove le note dolci della mandorla e del cappero fanno da collante tra le note floreali del timo e angelica e la nota amarognola dell’assenzio.

We tried this gin with various tonics, the one that paired best with this gin is the Fever Tree Indian, the bitter note of the absinthe stands out and accompanies the tasting from the beginning to the end, with a succession of sweetish notes given by the almond and caper with a final floral aftertaste of thyme and angelica. For those who want to feel the bitter note of absinthe a little less, they can also combine this gin with Malafemmena, where the sweet notes of almond and caper act as a glue between the floral notes of thyme and angelica and the bitter note of absinthe.

COSA CI PIACE E COSA NO / WHAT WE LIKE AND WHAT WE DON’T

Ci piace l’eticchetta della bottiglia fatta a stoffa che si può staccare, ci piace il profumo che rilascia appena stappato il gin, con le note amare dell’assenzio e del ginepro che pervade il naso.
Ci piace quel gusto amaro che lascia al palato che si abbassa man mano che si susseguono le note dolci della mandorla e cappero con le note erbacee del timo e dell’angelica, lo si può gustare anche liscio dopo pasto, se piace sentire la nota amarognola e alcolica sul palato.

Difetti davvero non ne troviamo.
