Buongiorno Dario cosa Ti ha spinto a creare il Tuo Gin J.Rose?

La mia passione per l’artigianato italiano mi ha spinto qualche anno fa a fondare la società Affreschi & Affreschi, azienda specializzata nella realizzazione di affreschi su un intonaco arrotolabile, in occasione del Natale 2021 ho pensato di inviare ai miei migliori clienti come regalo per le festività delle bottiglie di distillati, decorandole con le immagini di Venus, la collezione che Affreschi & Affreschi avrebbe presentato al prossimo Salone del Mobile di Milano e firmata dal maestro Milo Manara. Un regalo che ha avuto un grandioso successo.

Da qui l’idea di compiere il passo successivo: cominciare una nuova avventura nel mondo gin. Un’avventura intrapresa dedicando la massima cura a ogni minimo dettaglio. A cominciare, ovviamente dalla formula del distillato.

Quindi questo J.Rose gin è il primo prodotto nel settore, cosa lo contraddistingue da tanti altri?

Oltre alla ricetta composta da 9 botaniche tutte studiate e bilanciate il packaging è senz’altro un mio vanto, l’etichetta è realizzata artigianalmente e riporta le illustrazioni del maestro Manara: 8 diversi disegni che danno vita a una collezione che si può anche visualizzare attraverso il Qr code presente nella retroetichetta.

Un piccolo pugnale in acciaio inox inserito nel tappo, diventato simbolo del marchio, può essere sfilato e utilizzato come ciondolo per collane, orecchini o come portachiavi.

Insomma tutti elementi che portano ad unicità e riconoscibilità.

Good morning Dario, what pushed you to create your J.Rose Gin?

My passion for Italian craftsmanship pushed me a few years ago to found the Affreschi & Affreschi company, a company specialized in the creation of frescoes on rollable plaster. On the occasion of Christmas 2021 I thought of sending it to my best customers as a gift for their celebrations of the bottles of spirits, decorating them with the images of Venus, the collection that Affreschi & Affreschi would present at the next Salone del Mobile in Milan and designed by the master Milo Manara. A gift that was a great success.

Hence the idea of taking the next step: starting a new adventure in the gin world. An adventure undertaken by dedicating the utmost care to every single detail. Starting, obviously, with the distillate formula.

So this J.Rose gin is the first product in the sector, what distinguishes it from many others?

In addition to the recipe made up of 9 botanicals all studied and balanced, the packaging is certainly one of my pride, the label is handcrafted and features illustrations by the master Manara: 8 different designs that give life to a collection that can also be viewed through the QR code on the back label.

A small stainless steel dagger inserted into the cap, which has become a symbol of the brand, can be removed and used as a pendant for necklaces, earrings or as a key ring.

In short, all elements that lead to uniqueness and recognisability.

Suppose you rely on external distilleries, what was your choice?

The Liquorificio Italia in Trieste is a historic distillery.

Can you give us some advice on how to enjoy your gin, which tonics to pair with it and what food goes with it?
