MA e CO’ significa MAre e COllina. È il Premium Dry Gin Sibona impreziosito anche con botaniche del Piemonte e della Liguria, tra cui per il Piemonte: bacche di ginepro, lavanda di Sale San Giovanni, salvia, rosmarino, rosa damascena, foglie di vite Nebbiolo e per la Liguria: limone, timo, arancio Pernambucco, basilico genovese d.o.p. Un gin che celebra quindi l’incontro tra la collina e il mare.

Distillato con Acqua naturale Eva che sgorga dalla sorgente più alta d’Europa a 2.042 metri.

La bottiglia è prodotta in vetro “wild glass” ovvero vetro riciclato, con una notevole riduzione delle emissioni di CO2 e con limitato spreco di materie prime, in totale sostegno dell’ambiente.

A gin that therefore celebrates the meeting between the hill and the sea.

Distilled with Eva natural water which flows from the highest spring in Europe at 2,042 metres.

The bottle is produced in “wild glass” glass, i.e. recycled glass, with a notable reduction in CO2 emissions and limited waste of raw materials, in total support of the environment.

Un gin che ci ha colpito per la cura con la quale sono state bilanciate le botaniche, a tratti agrumeto in altri floreale e persino erbaceo tutto in in solo gin. Certo non si avevano dubbi provenendo dalla Distilleria Sibona nota per i suoi prodotti di elevato livello ma non scontato, il MAeCO racchiude esattamente quanto promesso tra mare e collina e regala sensazioni piacevoli ogni volta che lo si beve.

A gin that struck us for the care with which the botanicals were balanced, at times citrus, at others floral and even herbaceous all in just gin. Of course there were no doubts coming from the Sibona Distillery known for its high level but not obvious products, the MAeCO contains exactly what was promised between sea and hills and gives pleasant sensations every time you drink it.

Quale acqua tonica usare? / wich tonic water?

Abbiamo provato questo gin con varie toniche, quella che ha bilanciato meglio le botaniche è la Fever Tree Indian, al palato risalta la parte agrumata dell’arancio Pernambucco e del limone ben legate con le note floreali del timo e della lavanda con un finale di basilico.

We tried this gin with various tonics, the one that best balanced the botanicals is the Fever Tree Indian, the citrus part of the Pernambucco orange and lemon stands out on the palate, well linked with the floral notes of thyme and lavender with a basil finish .

COSA CI PIACE E COSA NO / WHAT WE LIKE AND WHAT WE DON’T

Ci piace il profumo che rilascia appena aperta la bottiglia, al naso arriva subito il profumo della lavanda che predomina sul resto delle botaniche, in fondo si riesce a sentire leggermente il timo con l’arancio, mentre bevuto liscio al palato si sente subito la lavanda seguito dal timo legato con salvia e rosmarino.

We like the scent that it releases as soon as the bottle is opened, the scent of lavender immediately comes to the nose which predominates over the rest of the botanicals, after all you can slightly smell the thyme with the orange, while drunk straight on the palate you can immediately smell the lavender followed by thyme tied with sage and rosemary.
