This gin is prepared with the Cold Compound or Bathub technique, by cold infusion. Un gin che lascia subito intendere la sua direzione, ovvero quella di portare in primo piano la sua botanica d’eccezione, lo zenzero, senza però sovrastare quella basilare per ogni gin ovvero il ginepro, in questo caso il ginepro dei Balcani. Note floreali accompagnano queste le prime due botaniche creando un bouquet che grazie alla tecnica compound riescono ad amalgamarsi benissimo tra di loro.

Abbiamo provato questo gin con varie toniche, quelle che si sono abbinate meglio sono la Thomas Henry, che mette in risalto meglio le note floreali, e la Kinley che riesce ad amalgamare meglio sia le note floreali che speziate ed agrumate.
We tried this gin with various tonics, the ones that paired best were the Thomas Henry, which highlights the floral notes better, and the Kinley which manages to better blend both the floral and spicy and citrus notes.
COSA CI PIACE E COSA NO / WHAT WE LIKE AND WHAT WE DON’T
Ci piace il profumo che rilascia appena aperta la bottiglia, dove si può sentir subito la parte speziata e floreale, mentre lo si beve al palato arriva la parte floreale del gin abbinata alla parte speziata data dal pepe rosa e di sichuan insieme allo zenzero che ben si amalgama con lo zafferano, abbinato alla Kinley inoltre si possono sentire anche i sapori dati dalla parte agrumata del lime e del limone abbinata alla nota amarognola della liquirizia.
