Il 17 marzo del 1944 il Vesuvio si addormenta, ma nello stesso anno Vesuvius si risveglia. Magma Gin è proprio come il Vesuvio: imprevedibile, travolgente e con un sapore che sa di casa.

Ogni bottiglia, infatti, è numerata ed è quindi un pezzo unico.
In prima distillazione ne abbiamo prodotte 1944, numero che ricorda l’anno dell’ultima eruzione del Vesuvio.

On March 17, 1944, Vesuvius fell asleep, but in the same year Vesuvius reawakened. Magma Gin is just like Vesuvius: unpredictable, overwhelming and with a taste that feels like home.

Questo gin ci piace perché riesce a catturare non solo con le sue botaniche , ci piace perché riesce ad esprimere quella assoluta genialità che appartiene solo Napoli e ai suoi abitanti, un immagine forte vincente accompagnata da un prodotto di alta qualità. La bottiglia, il tappo, la fascetta, tutti piccoli dettagli che rendono unico un prodotto forgiato nel vulcano di idee di Maurizio de Fazio.

We like this gin because it manages to capture not only with its botanicals, we like it because it manages to express that absolute genius that only belongs to Naples and its inhabitants, a strong winning image accompanied by a high quality product. The bottle, the cap, the band, all small details that make a product forged in Maurizio de Fazio’s volcano of ideas unique.

Quale acqua tonica usare? / wich tonic water?

Abbiamo provato questo gin con varie toniche, quella che ha bilanciato meglio le botaniche è la Fentimans non fa risaltare una botanica rispetto all’altra, si può sentire in successione le note floreali date dall’alloro e rosmarino insieme alle note dolci e selvatiche della ginestra e del finocchietto selvatico unite al ginepro. Mentre per chi vuole assaporare di più le note floreali rispetto alle altre può provarla con la Fever Tree Refreshling light.

We tried this gin with various tonics, the one that balanced the botanicals best is Fentimans, it doesn’t make one botanical stand out over the other, you can taste the floral notes given by the laurel and rosemary in succession together with the sweet and wild notes of the broom and wild fennel combined with juniper. While those who want to savor the floral notes more than the others can try it with the Fever Tree Refreshing light.

COSA CI PIACE E COSA NO / WHAT WE LIKE AND WHAT WE DON’T

Ci piace il profumo che emana appena aperta la bottiglia, al naso arriva subito il finocchietto selvatico, seguito dalla parte floreale data dalla ginestra e del rosmarino, mentre al palato si sente subito il finocchietto selvatico seguito dalla nota dolciastra data dalla ginestra legate bene dalle note balsamiche dell’alloro e del rosmarino. Ci piace la possibilità di potersi gustare questo gin sia liscio che accompagnato da un’ottima tonica per un gin tonic rinfrescante grazie alle botaniche raccolte tutte nel territorio del Vesuvio.

Difetti davvero non ne troviamo.

We like the scent that emanates as soon as the bottle is opened, the wild fennel immediately arrives on the nose, followed by the floral part given by the broom and rosemary, while on the palate you can immediately smell the wild fennel followed by the sweetish note given by the broom linked well by the notes balsamic from bay leaves and rosemary. We like the possibility of being able to enjoy this gin both neat and accompanied by an excellent tonic for a refreshing gin and tonic thanks to the botanicals all harvested in the Vesuvius area.

We really can’t find any faults.
