Il ROGIN è un gin che nasce nel cuore delle Langhe, territorio anima dell’enogastronomia italiana. La passione di due amici nel ricercare un prodotto che potesse soddisfare la loro idea di gin ha portato a questo risultato unico nel suo genere, e ora ci piacerebbe condividerlo con voi. L’eleganza di questo gin è data dal sapore secco, amaro e sapido, ammorbidito da note floreali. Abbiamo stabilito una gradazione di 42% per renderlo amabile da ogni tipo di consumatore senza, però, perdere le caratteristiche di un dry gin. Gli ingredienti che lo contraddistinguono sono pochi ma marcati, tra tutti quello che caratterizza maggiormente il ROGIN é il Zanthoxylum Armatum, un cespuglio spinoso che cresce nelle foreste del Nepal e produce una bacca con aromi di indescrivibile ricchezza. 

ROGIN is a gin born in the heart of the Langhe, the soul of Italian food and wine. The passion of two friends in searching for a product that could satisfy their idea of gin led to this one-of-a-kind result, and now we would like to share it with you. The elegance of this gin is given by the dry, bitter and savory flavour, softened by floral notes. We have established an alcohol content of 42% to make it enjoyable for all types of consumers without, however, losing the characteristics of a dry gin. The ingredients that distinguish it are few but marked, among all the ones that most characterize ROGIN is Zanthoxylum Armatum, a thorny bush that grows in the forests of Nepal and produces a berry with aromas of indescribable richness.

Un gin che rispetta la sua territorialità ma che inserisce nel suo bouquet una botanica di un paese lontano come il Nepal, le Langhe sono per antonomasia terre di vino ma il Rogin ha saputo imporre il suo stile trovando un posto nei locali del territorio e ne siam certi si allargherà.

Liscio già rende benissimo il concetto di come unire il ginepro al sapido delle bacche nepalesi e alle note floreali delle altre botaniche, un prodotto che ci è piaciuto particolarmente bravi ragazzi!

A gin that respects its territoriality but which includes in its bouquet a botany from a distant country like Nepal, the Langhe are par excellence wine lands but Rogin has been able to impose its style finding a place in the local restaurants and we are certain it will expand.

Smooth already conveys the concept of how to combine the juniper with the savory Nepalese berries and the floral notes of the other botanicals, a product that we particularly liked, good guys!

Quale acqua tonica usare? / wich tonic water?

Abbiamo provato questo gin con varie toniche diverse tra loro, quella che ha amalgamato meglio tutte le botaniche presenti è la Fever Tree Refreshling light, risalta meglio la combinazione tra le note sapide del gin con la bacca che nasce nelle foreste del Nepal, rendendo il gin tonic davvero ottimo e rinfrescante al palato.

We tried this gin with various different tonics, the one that best blended all the botanicals present is the Fever Tree Refreshling light, the combination between the savory notes of the gin with the berry that grows in the forests of Nepal stands out best, making the gin really excellent tonic and refreshing on the palate.

COSA CI PIACE E COSA NO / WHAT WE LIKE AND WHAT WE DON’T

Ci piace la bottiglia con le mappe delle antiche langhe e il suo modo unico di esser chiusa, appena aperto il gin sprigiona un profumo di ginepro seguito poi dalla nota della bacca del Nepal, al palato invece la nota sapida viene poi accompagnata dal sapore della bacca del Nepal e da tutte le altre botaniche che danno quel sapore floreale e amaro che ben si bilanciano tra di loro, è buono sia da gustarsi liscio che accompagnato da un’ottima tonica.

Difetti davvero non ne troviamo.

We like the bottle with the maps of the ancient Langhe and its unique way of being closed, as soon as it is opened the gin releases a scent of juniper followed by the note of the Nepalese berry, on the palate however the savory note is then accompanied by the flavor of the berry of Nepal and all the other botanicals that give that floral and bitter flavor that are well balanced between them, it is good both to be enjoyed neat and accompanied by an excellent tonic.

We really can’t find any faults.
