La caratteristica principale del Gin Lagan è data dalla presenza di 2 tipologie di alghe marine (alga Dulse e Lattuga di mare) le quali donano una leggerissima salinità al distillato.

La miscela di spezie, agrumi (come cedro, mandarino, arancia dolce) e botaniche che accompagnano i sentori marini, contribuiscono alla delicatezza e al profumo di questo gin premium.

The main characteristic of Gin Lagan is given by the presence of 2 types of seaweed (Dulse seaweed and sea lettuce) which give a very light salinity to the distillate.

The mixture of spices, citrus fruits (such as cedar, mandarin, sweet orange) and botanicals that accompany the marine scents contribute to the delicacy and aroma of this premium gin.

Un gin caratterizzato dalla presenza di botaniche insolite, due alghe che donano allo spirit un sapore salmastre e sapido ma senza coprire il ginepro e le altre botaniche. La bottiglia e l’etichetta in stile “proibizionismo” attirano curiosità che viene appagata da una bella esperienza all’olfatto e al palato, soprattutto se affiancata alle altre due della linea Masterson Spirit ovvero Amaro Masterson e Bitter Kèdros.

A gin characterized by the presence of unusual botanicals, two algae that give the spirit a salty and savory flavor but without covering the juniper and the other botanicals. The “prohibitionism” style bottle and label attract curiosity which is satisfied by a beautiful experience on the nose and palate, especially when combined with the other two in the Masterson Spirit line, namely Amaro Masterson and Bitter Kèdros.

Abbiamo provato questo gin con varie toniche, quella che più ha messo in risalto le varie botaniche del gin è l’acqua brillante, ma si consigliano anche altre toniche neutre come la Fever Tree Refreshning Light o la Franklin Light.

COSA CI PIACE E COSA NO / WHAT WE LIKE AND WHAT WE DON’T

Ci piace in primis il profumo appena si apre la bottiglia, al palato si può sentire subito la parte salina data dall’alga marina, che si combina perfettamente con le altre botaniche come il cedro, lo zenzero, il basilico e il timo, creando un gusto davvero deciso e piacevole abbinata a una tonica neutra. Inoltre questo gin si presta anche per esser bevuto liscio o accompagnato da un cubetto di ghiaccio.

First of all, we like the perfume as soon as you open the bottle, on the palate you can immediately feel the saline part given by the seaweed, which combines perfectly with the other botanicals such as cedar, ginger, basil and thyme, creating a really strong and pleasant taste combined with a neutral tonic. Furthermore, this gin is also suitable to be drunk neat or accompanied by an ice cube.
