Dopo 5 anni dalla prima bottiglia di gin e varie collaborazioni con artisti di tutto il mondo Ginarte propone la sua prima variante e lo fa aggiungendo una botanica alle 13 classiche: il melograno.

Ginarte Pomegranate è una nuova delicata aromatizzazione al melograno che arricchisce il carattere di Ginarte e ne conserva tutta l’eleganza e l’equilibrio. Il melograno cresce e fruttifica anche nel freddo del nord Italia, tuttavia i frutti più concentrati e profumati sono di origine mediterranea, il sud Italia e le isole ne sono il regno. La corteccia del frutto viene usata fin dall’antichità per ottenere un pigmento giallo ocra e le sue proprietà tintorie sono state sfruttate sia nell’arte che per la stampa del tessuto di cotone fino al XIX secolo, in linea con l’anima artistica di Ginarte.

After 5 years from the first bottle of gin and various collaborations with artists from all over the world, Ginarte proposes its first variant and does so by adding a botanical to the 13 classics: pomegranate.

Ginarte Pomegranate is a new delicate pomegranate flavoring that enriches the character of Ginarte and preserves all its elegance and balance. The pomegranate grows and bears fruit even in the cold of northern Italy, however the most concentrated and fragrant fruits are of Mediterranean origin, southern Italy and the islands are its kingdom. The bark of the fruit has been used since ancient times to obtain a yellow ocher pigment and its dyeing properties were exploited both in art and for the printing of cotton fabric until the 19th century, in line with the artistic soul of Ginarte .

Questa variante del classico Ginarte è il tocco di frutta che mancava ad un gin già complesso e completo, di fatto l’aggiunta di una sola botanica non stravolge il sapore dell’ottimo gin ma di fatto gli dona freschezza ammiccando ad un pubblico più femminile.

This variant of the classic Ginarte is the touch of fruit that was missing from an already complex and complete gin, in fact the addition of just one botanical does not distort the flavor of the excellent gin but in fact gives it freshness while appealing to a more female audience.

Quale acqua tonica usare? / wich tonic water?

L’Acqua Brillante Recoaro e le toniche senza zuccheri aggiunti come la Fever Tree Refreshning Light e la Franklin e Son’s Light sono quelle più indicate per non disturbare la botanica aggiunta. Possibile si sperimentare altre toniche ma un gin come questo che va bene anche liscio non ha bisogno di troppi sapori da aggiungere.

Acqua Brillante Recoaro and tonics without added sugars such as Fever Tree Refreshning Light and Franklin and Son’s Light are the most suitable ones so as not to disturb the added botanicals. It is possible to experiment with other tonics but a gin like this which is also good neat does not need too many flavors to be added.

COSA CI PIACE E COSA NO / WHAT WE LIKE AND WHAT WE DON’T

Ci piace il concetto pur semplice di aggiungere una botanica alle altre presenti e di fatto presentando un prodotto nuovo, non dico differente ma con sfumature più fruttate guadagna in freschezza. Al naso e al palato vince subito la dolcezza.

We like the scent that it releases as soon as the bottle is opened, the freshness given by the floral botanicals such as lavender, mint and mountain pine immediately arrives on the nose, while as soon as you taste it the floral part immediately binds with the slightly bitter notes of the hibiscus and madder. It is a gin that can also be drunk straight if you like to fully feel the freshness of the botanicals.
