Ginarte nasce a Firenze, culla del Rinascimento, e da essa eredita la passione per l’arte che interpreta nelle sue botaniche alcune delle quali usate a quei tempi per produrre i colori di celeberrimi capolavori dell’arte. Dopo 5 anni dalla prima bottiglia ha saputo imporsi con varie edizioni speciali legate ad artisti contemporanei, una su tutte Frida Kahlo.

Ginarte was born in Florence, cradle of the Renaissance, and from it he inherited the passion for art which he interpreted in his botanicals, some of which were used in those times to produce the colors of famous masterpieces of art. After 5 years from the first bottle you have been able to establish yourself with various special editions linked to contemporary artists, one above all Frida Kahlo.

Un gin che si presenta fin da subito come un prodotto di classe, partendo dalla confezione e dalla bottiglia in sè piccole opere d’arte, la sfida vera e propria è trovare tutte le edizioni uscite finora di scatola e bottiglia il gin resta quello consolidato salvo la variante recente Pomegranate con aggiunta appunto di Melograno e la recente Limited Edition in collaborazione con 10 CC concept store milanese nonché brand di lusso.

Abbiamo provato questo gin con varie toniche, quelle che mettono in risalto meglio tutte le botaniche sono la Thomas Henry e l’Acqua Brillante Recoaro, risaltano al meglio le botaniche presenti nel gin, in particolar modo uniscono i gusti delle 13 botaniche senza sovrastarne il gusto.

We tried this gin with various tonics, the ones that best highlight all the botanicals are Thomas Henry and Recoaro Brilliant Water, they highlight the botanicals present in the gin best, in particular they combine the flavors of the 13 botanicals without overpowering their taste.

COSA CI PIACE E COSA NO / WHAT WE LIKE AND WHAT WE DON’T

Ci piace il profumo che rilascia appena aperta la bottiglia, al naso arriva subito la freschezza data dalle botaniche floreali come la lavanda, la mentuccia e il pino mugo, mentre appena lo si assaggia la parte floreale si lega subito con le note leggermente amarognole dell’ibisco e della robbia. E’ un gin che può essere bevuto anche liscio se si ama sentire a pieno la freschezza delle botaniche.

We like the scent that it releases as soon as the bottle is opened, the freshness given by the floral botanicals such as lavender, mint and mountain pine immediately arrives on the nose, while as soon as you taste it the floral part immediately binds with the slightly bitter notes of the hibiscus and madder. It is a gin that can also be drunk straight if you like to fully feel the freshness of the botanicals.
