Così riporta il sito di questi ragazzi appassionati di surf e ovviamente di gin, ci propongono un London Dry con note accese di Lemon Myrtle australiano che richiama un paese dove il surf è di casa.

Il ginepro che è la base di tutti i gin ovviamente emerge in bocca bilanciato con le altre botaniche presenti nel DuckDive, un London Dry secco che emerge grazie la Lemon Myrtle mitigato dal coriandolo, angelica, scorza d’arancia e Iris completano il bouquet.

Il gin Duck Dive dà il suo meglio in un classico G&T, o meglio “Duck Tonic” con acqua tonica di tipo Indian e ghiaccio. Bacche di ginepro e scorza di lime a completare come garnish.

The juniper which is the basis of all gins obviously emerges in the mouth balanced with the other botanicals present in the DuckDive, a dry London Dry that emerges thanks to the Lemon Myrtle mitigated by coriander, angelica, orange peel and Iris complete the bouquet.

Duck Dive gin gives its best in a classic G&T, or rather “Duck Tonic” with Indian-type tonic water and ice. Juniper berries and lime zest to complete as a garnish.

Un gin dove la botanica principale il limone australiano si percepisce da subito ma non è dominante sopra le altre botaniche che riescono ad essere ben bilanciate e presenti in base alla tonica abbinata. Un gin che và giù piacevolmente senza stancare e che riserva dopo alcune degustazioni sempre sfaccettature nuove al palato e al naso.

A gin where the main botany, the Australian lemon, is immediately perceived but is not dominant over the other botanicals which manage to be well balanced and present based on the combined tonic. A gin that goes down pleasantly without tiring and that after a few tastings always reserves new facets on the palate and on the nose.

Quale acqua tonica usare? / wich tonic water?

Abbiamo provato questo gin con varie toniche, quella che si è prestata meglio nel mettere in risalto le botaniche del gin è l’acqua brillante grazie alla quale è possibile apprezzare meglio la parte agrumata data dal limone australiano e scorza d’arancia con il retrogusto finale della radice di Iris.

We tried this gin with various tonics, the one that lent itself best to highlighting the botanicals of the gin is the sparkling water thanks to which it is possible to better appreciate the citrus part given by the Australian lemon and orange peel with the final aftertaste of the Iris root.

COSA CI PIACE E COSA NO / WHAT WE LIKE AND WHAT WE DON’T

Ci piace prima di tutto il buon profumo appena si apre la bottiglia, si può sentire subito il limone australiano accompagnato poi dai profumi dati dalla radice di Iris e angelica. Ci piace il gusto unico dato dal limone australiano e scorza d’arancia, ben bilanciati con i sapori acri e speziati dati dall’angelica e dalla radice di Iris che abbinato ad una tonica neutra/light da vita ad un ottimo gin&tonic dissetante.

Difetti davvero non ne troviamo.

First of all, we like the good scent as soon as you open the bottle, you can immediately smell the Australian lemon accompanied by the scents given by the root of Iris and angelica. We like the unique taste given by Australian lemon and orange peel, well balanced with the acrid and spicy flavors given by angelica and Iris root which combined with a neutral / light tonic gives life to an excellent thirst-quenching gin&tonic.

We really can’t find any faults.
