Dal 1793 nella Black Friars Distillery nel cuore della storica città di Plymouth, sulla costa sud-occidentale dell’Inghilterra, viene distillato questo leggendario gin in grado di definire un vero e proprio genere. La distilleria è la più antica in funzione in Inghilterra e sorge dove c’era dal 1491 un monastero dominicano, ecco spiegata la presenza del frate sulla bottiglia.

Since 1793 in the Black Friars Distillery in the heart of the historic city of Plymouth, on the south-west coast of England, this legendary gin has been distilled capable of defining a real genre. The distillery is the oldest in operation in England and stands where there was a Dominican monastery since 1491, which explains the presence of the friar on the bottle.
