Agosto 2022 arriviamo a Coimbra splendida e storica città del Portogallo vicina a Porto, dopo aver visitato la bellissima chiesa di Santa Cruz entriamo nell’adiacente bar, una volta era parte della chiesa, e ovviamente chiediamo un gin locale… ce ne siamo innamorati dal primo sorso ordinandone subito un secondo giro.
Non serve aggiungere altro, attualmente è il nostro gin preferito ma non è affatto facile da reperire purtroppo qui in Italia.
August 2022 we arrive in Coimbra beautiful historic city in Portugal near Porto, after visiting the beautiful church of Santa Cruz we enter the adjoining bar, it was once part of the church, and of course we ask for a local gin… we love it from the first sip by immediately ordering a second round.
No need to say anything else, it is currently our favorite gin but unfortunately it is not easy to find here in Italy.
QUALE ACQUA TONICA USARE? / WHICH TONIC WATER TO USE?
Tonica secca senza esitazioni, basta una fetta di limone bello sano ma non troppo grande per evitare di coprire le note delle notevoli botaniche presenti, due su tutte la Franklin e la Kinley.
Dry tonic without hesitation, a slice of healthy but not too big lemon is enough to avoid covering the notes of the remarkable botanicals present, two above all Franklin and Kinley.
COSA CI PIACE E COSA NO / WHAT WE LIKE AND WHAT WE DON’T
Ci piace il gusto unico e complesso di questo gin, il ricordo del Portogallo.
Non ci piace il fatto che non sia importato in Italia!
